Individual Counseling

Students come in with different needs depending on their age, from learning how to manage emotions and friendships in elementary school to navigating identity, peer relationships, and academic stress in middle and high school. In individual counseling, I focus on building strong, trusting relationships and using a brief, solution-focused approach that helps students recognize their strengths, feel heard, and take small, meaningful steps forward. When concerns are more serious or ongoing, I work closely with families and staff to connect students with additional support, while continuing to be a consistent, caring presence for them at school.
